Contact support
Write to [email protected]. A few details help us solve the problem on the first reply:
- Your device model and its iOS or Android version
- The version of the app, shown in the app's settings or in your app store
- What you were doing when the problem happened, and what you expected instead
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you can take one
Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by the App Store or Google Play, so they are managed in your store account rather than in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
| Task | iPhone or iPad | Android |
|---|---|---|
| Cancel or change a subscription | Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TCGValuer | Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TCGValuer |
| Request a refund | reportaproblem.apple.com | Google Play Help |
| Restore purchases on a new device | Sign in with the same Apple ID, then use Restore Purchases in the app | Sign in with the same Google account, then use Restore Purchases in the app |
Refund decisions are made by Apple and Google under their own policies. If a purchase does not unlock what it should, email us with the store receipt and we will help sort it out.
Your data and deletion requests
To access, correct or delete the personal data held about you, email [email protected] from the address you use with the app, or describe the device and purchase so the request can be matched. What the app collects, which third-party services receive it and how long it is kept are set out in the privacy policy.
If a card does not scan correctly
Most scanning problems come from light and angle rather than from the card. Place the card flat on a plain, dark surface, fill the frame with the whole card, and avoid overhead glare — holographic and reverse holo cards reflect strongly, and a sleeve or top loader adds its own reflection.
If the app picks the wrong card, check the collector number and set symbol along the bottom edge; the guide on how to read a Pokémon card explains each mark. Which foil version you hold is covered in holo vs reverse holo.
About the values shown in the app
Market values in the app are estimates based on third-party market data at a point in time. They are not appraisals and not guarantees of what a card will sell for, and a card's condition, printing and demand can move its real price a long way. How card prices are actually decided is explained on what a Pokémon card is worth, and the full conditions of use are in the terms and conditions.
